Springtime in The Grampians

Well, it certainly has been springtime this week. Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day, Sunday was a bit grey and gloomy with showers, Monday did the wind blow!!! At one stage it was almost like a mini tornado, the big gum tree out the front of our shop was creaking and groaning. We are very glad it’s a big strong tree. We didn’t get much sleep this week either because of lots of thunder and lightning during the nights.

Today on a beautiful sunny day we said goodbye to Ellis. He has gone to live in Horsham with a large family of Charlie Bears. Lucky Ellis will have lots of good friends.

We have had lots of tour groups visiting this week, with many of the visitors admiring all of us. However, Ellis has been the only lucky one to find a new home. Oh well maybe some of us will be lucky this coming week.
